Who boils animals alive?

I have two points to make.

1. This cartoon refers of course to boiling lobsters alive, which is practiced and taken for granted in the USA, UK and most Western cultures. One lobster cooking guide stipulates that "the lobster must be boiled live, or it won't cook right." Vegans don't indulge in this cruelty, but could suffer great pain due to their innate empathy. So, meat eaters, please show some compassion to both the animals and the vegans!

2. Racists are another story. Just this morning, one from a lobster-boiling country announced to the world that "the Chinese is an evil RACE" (my emphasis). Other than the obvious, this is an illustration of what I call "spiritual far-sightedness", where the afflicted is keenly aware of what goes on in an alley on the other side of the planet, but unaware and/or unconcerned about what goes on in his/her own backyard. Go get a third-eye monocle please.

‎1.Yes but you can't COMPARED DOG'S TO LOBSTERS ! 2. THE HORRIBLE CONDITIONS OF DETENTION AND THE FOOD GIVEN TO THE DOG's ( sometimes have to eat dead puppies from other dog's) is totally UNACCEPTABLE !!! Dog's are bleeding and have a heart pumping like WE DO !!! ( Lobster NOT) but i'm strongly against the alive boiling of the lobsters ! i never eaten in my life !!my dear friend Anthony Marr please Read this carefully => One of the worst examples of animal cruelty in the history of humanity is being committed by the dog and cat meat industry in S. Korea. ( and probably in China too but not in the same level degree of cruelty.. but still Extremely cruel too..!)
Dogs are deprived of everything that is natural to them. They live in tiny cages above the ground and having to balance on rusty feces encrusted wire underneath them all their lives. They are left to constantly smell the accumulation of feces and urine underneath their cage. Puppies are separated from their mothers at an early age and some are slaughtered at just a few weeks old. They don't even know what walking on the ground feels like. They cannot mingle with other dogs other than those in cages beside them. They suffer summer heat and freezing winters outdoors. No water is given. They have to eat rotten human food waste such as kimchi or organs from their slaughtered friends. It is also documented that dead puppies are ground up and fed to these dogs. They get no exercise. Veterinary care is nonexistent. They have been known to have their eardrums burst to prevent them from barking. Every natural instinct they have is impeded by the inhumane and tortuous conditions they must live under. The best description for their lives is "Hell on Earth". NEXT THE TRANSPORTS.. =>
During the transport to the markets, restaurants and slaughterhouses, from being thrown into metal cages by the neck like rags, they sustain serious and painful injuries such as broken spines and limbs. To prevent dogs in fear and stress from fighting with each other, they are crammed into tiny cages making them unable to move or stretch their limbs. They are loaded into back of trucks and forced into this position for hours without food or water. When they are finally yanked out of these cages by the neck, they are electrocuted, hanged, beaten or burned to death. There is a perverted belief that the meat tastes better if dogs have high adrenaline levels in their meat before they die. Therefore, some dogs are made to experience extreme fear and suffering leading up to their deaths. Some dogs are hanged and then beaten while they are hanging and still alive. Others are hanged and then a blow torch is used on them while they are still alive to remove their hair. Others still are simply beaten and tortured to death. Generally, at the markets, dogs are electrocuted and then their necks are broken. Throughout the modern world S. Koreans are depicted as heartless people who brutalize and terrorize helpless animals without one shred of compassion or humanity. When I think about these horrible cruelties perpetuated by humans on these trusting creatures.. I feel ashamed to be an human !!! Anthony CAN YOU COMPARE THIS FACTS TO THE LOBSTERS ?????? I'M CURIOUS TO HEAR YOU COMMENT.. thank you !

It always sickens me to even imagine the poor animal going into a pot of boiling water and the excruciating pain and torture it must be going through, not to mention the initial fear it must feel after abruptly being removed from their native living grounds and handled, It literally brings me to tears. But I completely agree Anthony. Although I understand and feel every bit of the anger towards any persons that harm or torture an innocent being, it equally angers me when I hear someone blame a race for this mass cruelty. The fact is that the horrendous treatment of just about every species of animal exists all over the world and we need to focus and act on doing something about it no matter where it is. But those who find guilt in "the other guy" should try looking right at the end of their noses, they'd be surprised how many guilty are standing right there.

Anthony
I apologies for leaving this comment on this particular thread. But could you change up your design to make reading your text a little easier?
I am old, and so maybe the only one experiencing a problem in viewing your text.
Just to chime in on the subject at hand...
I suspect there to be great pain to crustaceans when they hit the hot water. And left to the whim of "joe chef", the horror could go on for quite some time.
My best to you

To Tony Zaadel:

I'm not excusing "the Chinese" regarding dogs by any means. I just want those who point fingers to take a good look at themselves, and therefore be a little less sanctimonious.

Re. "can't compare dogs to lobsters" - you are not only being racist, you are being a speciesist.
