The coyote who joined us today

A neighbourhood coyote joined our vegan potluck at Locarno Park down on the beach for a while (though he had a non-vegan snack shortly after leaving the party :), then calmly trotted away. Throughout the encounter, he was not harassed, and in fact given a quiet and respectful berth.

Coyote lecturing humans: "Take what you need and leave the rest."

One life's loss is another life's gain, as is nature's way.
